Deposit Operations Representative (Lockbox)

About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Deposit Operations Representative (Lockbox) to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for processing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions, and maintaining the integrity of customer accounts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and is committed to delivering high-quality support to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and balance daily lockbox transactions, including checks, remittances, and electronic payments
  • Open, sort, and prepare incoming mail for processing in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure accurate data entry and posting of transactions to customer accounts
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and processing errors
  • Maintain compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards
  • Assist with research requests and provide support to internal departments as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
