Federal Hill, located within the TF Green Airport, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented FOH supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively. As an FOH Supervisor, you will support various departments and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Reports to:
  • Restaurant Management Team
  • This is not a managerial position

Responsibilities:
  • Advancing the Grove Bay Mission Statement and Core Values
  • Delivering exceptional hospitality to all guests
  • Upholding all core Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coaching hourly team members in the moment
  • Training and developing new team members
  • Handling guest issues in a respectful manner
  • Following opening and closing procedures
  • Cash handling following Grove Bay SOP
  • Ability to expedite in adherence with the Grove Bay SOP
  • Strong understanding of operational systems – Toast, OpenTable, R365
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant – ensure the restaurant is showroom-ready at all times

Qualifications:

  • Must have worked within a venue or another Grove Bay restaurant for a minimum of 4 months
  • Prior supervisor experience
  • Multiple language abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a supervisor, administrative assistant, or in a similar role
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Previous experience in supervising, order entry, data entry, or proofreading is a plus
