Essential Job Functions:
* Maintain HRIS records, perform data entry, and compile reports from the system for analysis, compliance, or upon request
* Administer workers' compensation claims: investigate new claims, ensure compliance with laws and policies, manage medical providers, case managers, and adjusters, authorize medical treatment, and facilitate communication between injured workers, HR, and supervisors
* Administer FMLA leaves, including tracking, documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations
* Support ADA accommodations by coordinating interactive processes, reasonable accommodations, and related documentation

* Answer phone calls for general employment inquiries and basic employee questions on benefits, policies, procedures, and other HR matters
* Process new hire paperwork and background checks
* Prepare offer letters and termination letters
* Work closely with managers and payroll department on matters of employee pay (incorrect payments, contractual increases, etc.)
* Serve as initial point of contact for employee relations matters
* Provide administrative support to the HR function through record keeping, file maintenance, correspondence generation, and data entry
* Assist in day-to-day office operations (greeting employees, answering requests, processing Personnel Action Forms, etc.)
* Assist HR Department in carrying out various employee programs (Health Fair, Holiday Party, Recognition Night, etc.)
