Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PowerCurve Originations Consultant / Senior Developer with strong expertise in Experian PowerCurve Originations and decisioning strategy development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing business rules and decisioning strategies within the PowerCurve platform, along with a strong understanding of credit risk, data analysis, and application workflows.

The consultant will work closely with development, QA, and business teams to develop, test, optimize, and maintain PowerCurve decisioning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop decisioning strategies using PowerCurve Design Studio.
  • Build and maintain business rules and decisioning logic within the PowerCurve Originations platform.
  • Configure application workflows, including data capture, validation, and decisioning processes.
  • Integrate data from credit bureaus, internal systems, and application data sources.
  • Execute functional and strategy testing using PowerCurve Design Studio.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to resolve defects.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations for improving decisioning strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize decisioning strategy performance.
  • Participate in code/solution reviews and provide feedback on API and integration design.
  • Ensure APIs and decisioning solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Continuously improve testing and development processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Experian PowerCurve Originations.
  • Strong experience designing and developing business rules and decisioning strategies within PowerCurve.
  • Proficiency with PowerCurve Design Studio and its decisioning capabilities.
  • Understanding of credit risk management, credit scoring, and lending processes.
  • Experience with data mapping, data integration, and working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with application workflows and automated decisioning processes.
  • Good understanding of APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience working with development and QA teams in an Agile/enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with credit bureau integrations and external data sources.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to credit decisioning and data privacy.
  • Experience analyzing approval rates, default rates, and other credit decisioning performance metrics.
