We are hiring a Manager of IS Infrastructure to work out of either ourMarshall, MNor Hopkins, MN headquarters. This person is responsible for the operation, performance, stability, and quality of IS systems, networks and the Data Center. They are also responsible for the proper development of IS employees so that they may create, manage, and support IS systems and architectures.

What You Will Do:

  • Guide the development of infrastructure solutions with a focus on quality, budget and schedule, infrastructure performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise architecture, solution delivery, and other IT leaders to establish long-term plans and road maps for assigned systems.
  • Research, recommend, and implement technology and process changes to enhance asset management.

  • Supply personnel to staff projects, including the procurement of contract resources as appropriate.
  • Lead the selection and implementation of tools, techniques and best-practice adoption for areas of responsibility to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of assigned system areas while managing problems and user support, monitoring systems and facilities, and planning improvement responsibilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions for complex business opportunities which include alternative approaches for datacenter, media and facility management.

  • Work with peers and CIO to develop department-wide standards and procedures. Work to ensure compliance to these standards and procedures by building and maintaining relationships and focusing on SLA management.
  • Maintain vendor relationships to include contract negotiations and operational level agreements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency of concepts related to server-based Windows Operating Systems, database systems, data backup/restore, and IP based network communications and infrastructure.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook along with data analysis.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $178,000 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
