Job description

Overview
The Sr. Data Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales and demand planning functions. This individual will be responsible for building and managing a comprehensive suite of Power BI tools and dashboards to analyze various data sources, including syndicated (e.g., Nielsen/IRI), shipment, and internal sales data. Your work will provide the critical insights needed to drive strategic decision-making, optimize sales performance, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust suite of Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and trends for syndicated and shipment data.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver analytics solutions that support their objectives.
  • Improve and automate data processes and workflows, including data collection, validation, and integration across multiple sources
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our data analytics capabilities, tools, and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for business stakeholders

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within the CPG industry.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Strong experience working with syndicated data providers (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex problems and deliver clear, actionable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
