Job description

Our Global Data Specialist stewards the systems, processes, and operational data that support global accountability across the ministry, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent, and trustworthy. The role ensures that the International Database (IDB) and related reporting systems function effectively as the organizationโ€™s primary system of record for projects, finances, and ministry activity. This person serves as a key operational bridge between Global Operations, IT, and Finance, this role translates reporting and governance needs into clear system requirements and supports the testing and refinement of system functionalityโ€”ensuring that reporting systems deliver accurate, relevant, and clearly structured information - and are used correctly and consistently across the global ministry. The position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrityโ€”supporting the review, validation, and final verification of global ministry data.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.
Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christโ€™s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christโ€™s Covenant of Harmony, and Enduring Foundations and continuously upholds the ministry in prayer.

Participates in our Christ-centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate Every Home cultural values.

Systems Stewardship & Accountability Infrastructure

  • Serve as the Global Operations liaison with IT, Finance, and technical teams to support the development and refinement of systems that enable accurate reporting, financial oversight, and ministry accountability.
  • Translate Global Operations reporting and governance needs into clear system requirements, ensuring tools support data integrity and consistent global usage. Collaborating with IT to ensure the tools meet such requirements.
  • Participate in testing and validation of system updates to confirm functionality aligns with reporting, compliance, and stewardship requirements.

Statistical Reporting Integrity

  • Oversee the quarterly and annual statistical finalization process within the IDB, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency of submitted data.
  • Review system-generated reports to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or irregular trends and coordinate follow-up with Global Advocates, Continental Units, and field leaders.
  • Serve as the final operational verifier of global ministry statistics, confirming that reporting has been appropriately reviewed and confirming readiness for release of official organizational data for leadership, reporting, and publication use.

Operational Financial Data

  • Review and monitor operational financial reporting trends through dashboards and system-generated reports, ensuring irregular patterns in project funding, remittances, and field activity are identified, investigated, and clarified by the appropriate department.
  • Coordinate clarification with Finance and field leadership as needed, while recognizing Finance retains responsibility for accounting accuracy and compliance.
  • Support stewardship by ensuring operational financial data is clearly presented, understood, and aligned with reporting expectations.

Reporting & Leadership Support

  • Prepare consolidated operational reporting packages for the International Budget Committee (IBC) and other leadership forums.
  • Review/analyze reports in order to ensure statistical and operational financial data is complete, accurate, validated for organizational use, and presented with clarity for decision-making purposes.
  • Maintain structured reporting outputs that support transparency, trust, and informed leadership oversight.

Process Management & Documentation

  • Manage and refine Global Operations processes and documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and effective global adoption.
  • Maintain organized operational records and historical documentation to support continuity and long-term analysis.
  • Ensure reporting guidance, instructions, and standards are clearly communicated and consistently applied.

Training & System Support

  • Provide training and guidance to Global Advocates, headquarters staff, and field leaders on the proper use of reporting systems, IDB processes, and Global Operations standards.
  • Support and reinforce the correct understanding and application of reporting systems, standards, and processes across the global ministry.
  • Serve as a primary support resource for operational questions related to reporting systems and tools.
  • Assist in troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolution with IT.

Data Integrity & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor system usage and reporting patterns to identify opportunities for improved clarity, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Support ongoing refinement of systems and processes that strengthen global accountability and reduce reporting confusion.
  • Contribute to a posture of stewardship by ensuring systems remain clear, usable, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Assist with all other functions of Global Operations as requested by leadership.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Regularly attends and participates in a local church within their community
  • Minimum education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Data Management, Data Analytics; Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics or similar.
  • Minimum experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in global operations, statistics, data management, or global ministry data analysis
  • Believes strongly in the mission and strategy of Every Home for Christ
  • Possess strong passion for evangelism, discipleship, prayer
  • Unquestionable integrity/stewardship
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and nonverbal cross-cultural communication
