Job description

Job Summary

As Vice President, Quant Analytics Manager, you will lead exploratory data analysis and reporting for key partners within the Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer (AML/KYC) controls organization. You will drive data-driven innovation to solve complex business problems, manage a team of Quant Analytics Data Analysts, and build strong partnerships across the CCB Data Analytics organization and other functional groups to deliver scalable, high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the data & analytics strategy:Define and execute a roadmap that solves critical business challenges and uncovers new opportunities.
  • Lead and develop the team:Manage, coach, and grow a team of Quant Analytics Data Analysts; set priorities and uphold a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders:Serve as a primary analytics point of contact for executives and cross-functional leaders, ensuring deliverables align to business needs and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive advanced analytics delivery:Provide hands-on leadership designing and delivering sophisticated analytical solutions, translating business needs into data strategies, approaches, and outputs.
  • Communicate impact clearly:Present plans, progress, and results to senior leadership with crisp narratives, actionable insights, and transparent status reporting.
  • Enable innovation and AI adoption:Stay current on analytics/AI trends; evaluate, pilot, and implement new tools and techniques (including AI agents) to improve speed, quality, and impact.
  • Optimize resources for business outcomes:Allocate capacity and resources to maximize impact and influence outcomes tied to the organization’s P&L; act as a recognized technical leader.
  • Improve processes and governance:Identify and implement enhancements to processes, tooling, and governance; communicate recommendations effectively to business leaders.
  • Uphold risk and compliance standards:Operate within defined risk parameters and compliance obligations, applying strong judgment and proactively strengthening the control environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education:Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field).
  • Experience:8+ years of demonstrated experience delivering creative, high-impact data solutions.
  • AI enablement:Hands-on experience integrating AI agents to improve efficiency and effectiveness of analytics delivery.
  • Tools and programming:5+ years of advanced experience withAlteryx, Python, and Tableau.
  • Data management:Proficiency inSQLand foundational data table operations; strong problem-solving skills; demonstrated understanding of data architecture design concepts.
  • Analytical and communication skills:Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by complex analytical challenges; ability to design/evaluate metrics aligned to business goals and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • People leadership:Experience managing diverse, multi-site teams.
