Job description

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Enterprise Services, Administrative Services Division, located in the following:
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Washington DC

This announcement has been amended on 08/12/2026 to extend the closing date to 08/20/2026.Qualifications:Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
  • Interpreting complex data sets and regulatory requirements to provide actionable insights and ensure compliance with agency policies and program objectives.
  • Designing data collection methods, analytical models, or dashboards to support workforce planning, recruitment analysis, or program evaluation.
  • Synthesizing information from multiple sources to identify trends, develop recommendations, and support decision-making for human capital or administrative programs.
  • Facilitating collaboration among program offices, technical staff, and stakeholders to resolve data issues, improve data quality, and implement process improvements.
  • Presenting findings, technical reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders to influence policy, drive program improvements, or support strategic initiatives.

Residency: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP.
