Required: 
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in construction materials, testing, or related services
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred (but not required): 
 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • ICC or NICET certifications

What You'll Do 
In this role, you'll manage construction materials testing projects from proposal through completion. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to make sure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and on budget. 
You'll: 
 

  • Manage moderately complex construction materials projects and client relationships
  • Review construction plans and specifications and verify compliance in the field
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory and field test data
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets
  • Track project progress and communicate findings and recommendations to clients
  • Mentor junior staff and support field personnel
  • Use the latest programs, tools, and technologies in your daily work
  • Partner with senior project managers on larger or more complex projects
  • Participate in business development and client relationship-building efforts

Projects may support public works, transportation, commercial, energy, industrial, or communications infrastructure
