How You'll Contribute
As a Policy Administration Data and Analytics Manager, you will lead the reporting, analytics, and performance insights function within Policy Administration. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of data and analytics professionals, developing reporting strategies, ensuring data accuracy and governance, and delivering actionable insights that support policy issuance, maintenance, servicing, and operational decision-making. This role works closely with Operations, New Business, Compliance, Technology, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and external vendor partners to drive operational efficiency, support strategic planning, and enhance customer and policyholder experiences. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and operational excellence and bring strong leadership, analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills to the team.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of data analysts and associates.
  • Manage team performance, workload prioritization, hiring recommendations, and professional development activities.
  • Oversee the design, automation, enhancement, and maintenance of operational dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure reporting metrics accurately reflect policy activity, workflow volumes, capacity, and performance trends.
  • Review and validate reporting outputs for accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Analyze policy administration data to identify trends, risks, variances, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Establish and maintain data governance and data quality processes.
  • Lead reporting and analytics efforts supporting IVR, Contact Center, and client-facing website operations.
  • Monitor digital self-service adoption and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver meaningful reporting and insights.
  • Provide leadership with ad hoc analyses and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and operational planning.
  • Support departmental and company initiatives as needed.

What You'll Bring
Education
Required:
  • High School Diploma

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of policy administration or insurance operations experience with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience developing operational dashboards and managing data workflows.
  • Power BI experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
  • Experience within life insurance, annuities, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced analytical, mathematical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
