Job description

Drives meaningful business impact by transforming complex data into strategic insights and high-leverage recommendations. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to develop and scale the enterprise analytics platform and capabilities, improve self-service access to product usage insights, and ensure consistent interpretation of product performance across the business. By applying best-in-class analytics practices and aligning with broader business strategy, this individual develops intelligent, forward-looking BI solutions that directly improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and revenue outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Serve as a key Product Analytics point of contact for Amplitude platform enablement, including Guides & Surveys, documentation, governance, best practices, and support for broader cross-functional use cases.
  • Partner with Product, Personalization and Engineering teams to support the use of behavioral data within product experiences, including personalization, onboarding and in-product engagement capabilities.
  • Own the ongoing evolution of customer usage reporting capabilities, monitoring and triaging incoming requests and partnering with Sales and Customer Success to identify recurring and changing business needs, prioritize enhancements, and expand self-service access to trusted customer usage data and insights.
  • Own and drive cross-functional relationships across the business, act as the liaison between the analytics team and key business stakeholders across these teams.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making at all levels.
  • Lead the end-to-end analytics process for relevant systems, including quality assurance, auditing, and governance to ensure data integrity and usability across platforms.
  • Analyze customer behavior, feature adoption, usage patterns, and performance metrics to uncover trends and deliver actionable recommendations that enhance product value and business outcomes.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports that provide visibility into KPIs, success metrics, and end user engagement of relevant system.
  • Implement and maintain data collection systems, and quality control strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Partner with Engineering to manage analytics tools ensuring smooth data flow and governance.
  • Champion responsible data use, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of data analysis experience, leveraging descriptive and predictive techniques on large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • 4+ years of experience working with large datasets from diverse sources, producing actionable reports, and presenting findings.
  • 3+ years of experience uncovering product analytics insights that inform cross-functional initiatives, shape hypotheses, and support strategic and operational decision-making across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and related teams.
  • 3+ years of experience presenting insights to senior leadership or high-level audiences.
  • Strong experience in product analytics, sales analytics, or data strategy roles.
  • Experience working with Databricks or similar data platforms to access, analyze, and operationalize data across multiple sources and surfaces.
  • Strong analytical skills to organize, analyze, and communicate complex data with accuracy and detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder discovery, identify recurring business needs, prioritize analytics capabilities, and translate those needs into scalable solutions.
  • Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments while independently managing analytics projects from scoping to delivery.
  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Deep understanding of customer journey analytics, KPI development, and data storytelling.
  • Experience managing large-scale datasets, data platforms, and pipelines.

Compensation Range:

$130,000.00-$170,000.00

Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
