Campaigns & Projects Coordinator (Term Contract) 

What We Do 

YESS is a not-for-profit agency working with youth facing difficult realities. Based in Edmonton, our Youth Support Centre provides immediate and low-barrier 24/7 sleep support and individualized wrap-around supports for young people aged 15 -24. 

We work collaboratively within a network of care, focused on the prevention of youth homelessness by providing youth with the necessary supports to stabilize their housing, improve their wellbeing, build life skills, connect with community, and avoid re-entry into homelessness.

What You Will Do 

 
This contract role provides hands-on support for three priority projects: 

  • Adopt-A-Teen registration and data management 
  • Walk for YESS peer-to-peer fundraiser coordination
  • General support to the Marketing and Fund Development team during YESS's Year End campaign
     


The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining data systems, supporting platform integration, and ensuring smooth user experiences for families, donors, and participants. Work includes managing a Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform, CRM data, troubleshooting issues, and producing accurate, timely reporting. 


The focus is on execution, system integration, data accuracy, and user experience across platforms, with an emphasis on delivering functional systems and resolving issues quickly during key program and campaign periods. 


The contract period is through January 30, 2027, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week.


Location: 
Hybrid – Four days per week on location at administrative office in Edmonton (T5S 1G2)

Responsibilities include: 

 


Donor Experience & Support 

    • Ensure Adopt-A-Teen registration process is user-friendly and accessible for families, including clear, consistent communication before and after delivery to ensure families feel informed and supported 
    • Prepare accurate registrant lists for mailing 
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Fund Development team on donor stewardship processes
       
    • Support accurate donor data tracking and reporting 

    Walk for YESS Support 

    • Manage the Peer-to-Peer fundraising site, and walker and donor experiences. Includes providing support for registration, fundraising, and donors inquires 
       
    • Ensure accurate reporting and CRM integration 
    • Provide troubleshooting and support for walk participants, including management of any technical issues with the platform
    • Manage communications with walkers, supporters, and donors. Includes assisting with the development of engaging email communications, including subject lines, body copy, and supporting content  
    • Assist with Walk Day, including set-up, tear down, registration, and walker management
       


    Year End Campaign Support 

    • Assist in managing donor inquires by email and phone 
    • Assist with donation processing - primarily donations made by phone 
    • Support Marketing and Fund Development team with donor stewardship processes 
    • Support accurate donor tracking and reporting 
    • Assist with the development of engaging email communications, including subject lines, body copy, and supporting content for calls to action throughout the Year End campaign 

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have 

    • Experience with database/CRM systems (e.g., Raisely or similar) 
    • Strong project coordination and organizational skills 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines 
    • High attention to detail and data accuracy 
    • Strong communication skills (internal coordination and external support) 
    • Strong writing, and editing skills
    • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into usable insights 
    • Curious, proactive, and solutions-focused approach 
       

    What You Bring 

    • Minimum of two to five years’ relevant training or background in project management, ideally in the nonprofit or social sector.  
    • Clear police clearance (PIC) and a Child Intervention (CIRC) check, both obtained within the last six months
