Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Product Data Analyst Intern joins the Measurement & Analysis Group (MAG) and assists in the processes and operating mechanisms for measurement and monitoring of product performance. This role uses their expertise in data visualization and statistics applications to monitor product performance and implement improvements to data infrastructure.

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:

Reports to the Measurement & Analysis Manager in the Global Quality Assurance department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uses statistical techniques to analyze observed trends
  • Conducts quarterly part lifetime analyses and prepares reports of results
  • Implements changes to data and reporting infrastructure to improve data integrity and efficiency in above tasks
  • Assist Product Surveillance team by creating and implementing tools to aid in the processing, investigating and reporting of complaint data
  • Implement use of AI in execution of repetitive tasks
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred or Desired:

  • Experience using Salesforce platform and ServiceMax field service management system
  • Proficiency with statistical and reliability analysis tools, e.g. Minitab Statistics, ReliaSoft Weibull++

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VBA) and aptitude for new software
  • Proficiency with PowerBI and Power Query
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and committed to high standards of excellence and integrity
  • Experience with generative and agentic AI
