Are you ready to join a company who delivers excellence? Dart is a leader in our industry; and you can help make a difference every day. As a privately held company owned by the Dart family, we pride ourselves on our employees who are, and can be, the key to Dart's long term success. We are seeking an dynamic, results-driven outside sales representative to represent two iconic brands - Dart and SOLO products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a manufacturer's representative, you will generate sales by calling on an established network of distributors as well as prospect for new business by calling on end-users (e.g. hospitals, universities, restaurants) in an assigned territory which includes the New England (Massachusetts, Rhode Island or NE Connecticut) area. Aside from making daily sales calls, you will also:

  • Analyze customer and business inquiries and opportunities, and negotiate alternative solutions in areas of service, quality, pricing, and representation.
  • Link together or bridge different aspects of customers and marketplace to identify needs, motive, and solutions.
  • Actively secure and report market and competitive information as it relates to the current activity of selling Dart products.
  • Systematically resolve customer inquiries in areas of service, quality, and pricing.
  • Document account information in a CRM system as needed and attend occasional tradeshows, meetings, and other events.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • Culture of belonging
  • Corporate business hours working out of your home office
  • Top notch training program, including product knowledge, and selling skills
  • Opportunity for a long-term career path
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Retirement savings through company 401K program
  • Competitive base salary with 20% annual bonus
  • Vehicle allowance
  • Amazing colleagues to work with and learn from
  • Medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability and wellness benefits

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of outside sales experience to food service, paper distributor, or relatable field including selling a product/service to a customer/business. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Ideal candidate should reside within an hour of New England (Massachusetts, Rhode Island or NE Connecticut)
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prefer experience with CRM software tools such as Salesforce
