Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of clients to identify their substance abuse history, mental health status, and specific treatment requirements.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction issues and concurrent mental health disorders, tailoring the approach to meet each clientโ€™s unique needs.
  • Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), to facilitate client engagement and progress.
  • Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to provide integrated and holistic care for every client.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Special training or substantial experience in addiction counseling and substance use treatment is essential.
