• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of clients to identify their substance abuse history, mental health status, and specific treatment requirements.
• Create individualized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction issues and concurrent mental health disorders, tailoring the approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), to facilitate client engagement and progress.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to provide integrated and holistic care for every client.
• Educate and support the families of clients to foster a greater understanding of addiction and recovery processes, encouraging their involvement in their loved one’s healing journey.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all client records, maintaining confidentiality while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

You will primarily work with individuals who are experiencing substance use disorders, ranging from alcohol and opioid addictions to co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will involve understanding their unique circumstances, helping them to uncover the root causes of their struggles, and empowering them to make lasting changes.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
• Special training or substantial experience in addiction counseling and substance use treatment is essential.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and methodologies for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• At least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly within substance abuse recovery settings.
• Proficiency in therapeutic skills that foster a supportive client environment, establishing rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and for engaging clients and their families.
