• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing frameworks such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to foster patient engagement and progress.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at addressing substance use and mental health issues, tailoring interventions to meet individual patient needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that offer peer support and valuable coping strategies, helping individuals share their experiences and foster community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a seamless integration of care for each patient, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
• Respond to crises by providing immediate support and intervention in emergency situations related to substance use.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Holding Hope Therapeutic Center, you will work primarily with adults facing various substance use disorders. Your focus will be on helping these individuals and their families navigate the complexities of recovery, addressing not only the psychological aspects of addiction but also considering their overall wellness and resilience. Our diverse clientele includes people from various backgrounds, each with unique stories and challenges that will benefit from your expertise.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, with appropriate licensure (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW).
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy specifically related to addiction treatment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a supportive, non-judgmental approach towards patients.

• At least 2 years of practice in a mental health or addiction treatment setting, working with a variety of therapeutic populations.
• Experience using telehealth technologies to deliver remote therapy sessions.
• Participation in interdisciplinary team approaches to treatment, enhancing holistic care for patients.
