• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial consultations, documenting the client's journey from evaluation to treatment completion.
• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health and collaborate to establish personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead therapeutic sessions that may include individual therapy, therapy for couples, and structured group interventions.
• Continuously monitor the client's progress against treatment goals and adjust plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers to facilitate the best possible care.
• Provide necessary follow-up services for clients transitioning to or from inpatient care, ensuring a smooth continuity of care.
• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder the recovery process, providing guidance and support to clients and their families.

Our clients range from adolescents to adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• An acceptable score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate sensitive topics clearly and compassionately.

• Previous clinical experience in a mental health counseling role across various settings, preferably with a focus on telehealth.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR or comparable platforms.
• Experience addressing clients with co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders.
• Understanding of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus.
