Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Auditor supports DCIM projects through on site audits and infrastructure documentation under the direction of project lead and senior team members.

This role focuses on accurate identification and documentation of data center assets and supporting facility conditions. You follow defined audit processes, execute assigned scope, and escalate issues when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel to client sites to support audits and data collection (90%).
  • Execute audit plans under direction of Project Engineers.
  • Identify in-scope infrastructure and assets within assigned areas.
  • Flag risks, gaps, and scope issues to senior team members.

Asset Auditing and Documentation

  • Document cabinets and installed assets following defined standards.
  • Capture asset details for servers, network devices, storage, and related equipment.
  • Validate asset presence, placement, and basic attributes.
  • Perform structured asset audits across data center environments.
  • Ensure audit data is accurate, consistent, and complete.
  • Deliver clean, structured audit output for review.

Facility Inspection Support

  • Assist with physical inspections of data center environments.
  • Observe and report on general facility conditions.
  • Produce audit documentation for review.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and issues found.
  • Other duties as assigned.
