We are currently looking for a DCIM Engineer

Job Description

A Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the physical infrastructure of a data center. The DCIM Engineer will work closely with other teams such as IT, facilities, and operations to ensure the data center is running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems.
  • Monitor and maintain data center equipment, including servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Perform capacity planning to ensure the data center can handle current and future workloads.
  • Develop and maintain data center documentation, including equipment inventory, floorplans, and infrastructure diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data center issues, including power, cooling, and networkproblems.
  • Work with IT, facilities, and operations teams to ensure data center compliance withindustry standards and regulations.
  • Plan and execute data center upgrades and migrations.
  • Research and recommend new data center technologies and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to other teams as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data center infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of data center technologies, including power, cooling, and network systems.
  • Experience with data center monitoring and management tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
