Job description

Kinaras Solutions Inc. is hiring aย Senior Structured Cabling Installer for aย new construction data centerย inย Manassas, VA. This is aย hands-on lead roleย for someone who can install at a high standardย andย keep a small crew productive, organized, and accountable.
Location:ย Manassas, VA
Schedule:ย Day Shift (primary); occasional temporary shift adjustments (evening/night/weekend) based on site schedule
Employment:ย Full-time, W-2What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead a small crew/pod while remaining hands-on in the field (working lead)
  • Execute and oversee copper and fiber installation activities:
    • pathway coordination and cable routing
    • high-quality dressing, labeling, and port/cable ID control
    • patch panel and fiber enclosure/cassette installs
  • Drive daily production: tasking, sequencing, and coordination with site leadership/other trades
  • Enforce QA/QC to avoid rework (label accuracy, bend radius, cleanliness discipline, workmanship)
  • Support punch list closure and turnover readiness (documentation, photos, redlines/as-builts as required)
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure crew compliance with site safety requirements
What Weโ€™re Looking For (Must Have)
  • 3+ years of structured cabling experience (copper + fiber)
  • BICSI Certified
  • Proven experience as a working lead/foreman on active construction sites
  • Strong installation standards and ability to maintain quality at production speed
  • Ability to troubleshoot field issues and keep work moving (materials, access, coordination)
  • Ability to pass site onboarding requirements (background check/badging)
  • Reliable transportation to theย Manassas, VAย site
Strong Pluses
  • New-build data center experience
  • High-density fiber experience (MPO/MTP, trunk/cassette systems, polarity awareness)
  • Testing leadership (owns or reviews copper/fiber test results and closeout documentation)
  • OSHA-30 (or OSHA-10 plus demonstrated safety leadership)
