Job Description

Thisrole is considering all qualified candidates,including transitioning service members. TheBD SkillBridge Fellowship Programprovides opportunities for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through individual Fellowships during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days.

SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation or benefits from BD, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. After successful completion of the program, there may be an opportunity to be considered for a full-time position, depending on business needs.

SkillBridge Requirement:

  • Must meet all Department of Defense SkillBridge Eligibility requirements and be approved to participate in the SkillBridge program with your military installation command.

Location requirements:
This is an in-office role based in Franklin Lakes, NJ. SkillBridge participants may work remotely during the fellowship, with the expectation that they can transition to anin-office schedule in Franklin Lakes, NJ if hired full-time.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Intern to join our Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) team. The intern will assist in threat hunting, incident response (IR), and other cybersecurity activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity.
This role is considering all qualified candidates, including transitioning service members.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistin monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents.

  • Participate in threat hunting activities toidentifypotential security threats.

  • Supportincident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation.

  • Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Assistin the development and implementation of security operations policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with other team members to improve security posture and incident response capabilities.

Required Qualification(s):

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to analyze security data and conduct basic threat hunting and research on emerging vulnerabilities

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to support team-based incident response and contribute to security policies and procedures

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity operations, including security event monitoring, threat detection, and incident response processes, preferred
