Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer, Can-Am On-Road to help develop innovative 2-wheel and 3-wheel recreational vehicles. You will make a direct impact on product performance, quality, and innovation while growing your career in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuously evolving environment. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industry-leading experts. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Contribute to the design, development, and validation of electrical and mechatronic systems for BRP's on-road vehicles. Develop control, diagnostic, and communication functions for electronic control modules. Define technical requirements and prepare specifications for suppliers. Plan and execute validation and testing activities to ensure system performance and compliance. Contribute to vehicle cybersecurity and functional safety initiatives. Collaborate with suppliers in the development of electrical and electronic components. Oversee the creation of electrical schematics and related documentation. Work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality teams. Support vehicle production launches and troubleshoot technical issues on the assembly line. Guide technicians and support development activities to achieve project objectives. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Able English and French, written and spoken to collaborate with partners outside of Quebec. Have a solid understanding of electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical systems integration. Possess knowledge of vehicle cybersecurity and/or functional safety principles. Have experience with electrical harness design (an asset). Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thrive in environments where innovation and ambiguity are part of the process.
