Your objective in this role is to lead and drive Rolling stock Project and build strong business interface. You will do this by working with a global team of engineers and project managers, in a diverse and inclusive environment.

As Lead OT Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will:

  • Act as the primary interface between cybersecurity and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Spearhead cybersecurity planning and execution across the full project lifecycle of our rolling stock projects in NAM
  • Manage a team of cybersecurity Project manager
  • Drive technical excellence and compliance in cybersecurity design, delivery, and governance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage cybersecurity workstreams, including cost estimation, scheduling, and risk analysis.
  • Plan cybersecurity activities within the project development life cycle, estimate costs and duration, their impacts related to project execution.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality cybersecurity deliverables across all project phases
  • Lead and drive technical meetings for cybersecurity activities with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support engineering teams in integrating cybersecurity controls into design and delivery as per contract.
  • Oversee project budgets, resource utilization, and forecasting, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Regularly track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, cost, and delivery, analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget, maintaining full ownership of execution.
  • Be autonomous and take ownership of day-to-day project activities; ensure adherence to process.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders (internal, customer and suppliers) to address needs, resolve issues, and build trust.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering growth and accountability while managing workloads & capacity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the cybersecurity team and other stakeholders. 
  • Continuously assess team performance and implement strategies to boost efficiency and impact.

Education required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
  • Cybersecurity certifications preferred

Experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience related to Cybersecurity in general and deployment experience of industrial cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience working with industrial companies (Rail, OT, Industrial Control systems).
  • Experience working with product engineering and cross functional teams
  • Solid experience with Project Management.

Competencies & Skills required:

  • Strong technical expertise of industrial cybersecurity architecture and networking principles.
  • Knowledge of main Cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as ISO 2700X, NIST, and IEC 62443.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to foster effective communication and collaboration within teams and with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.

Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset to facilitate communication with our partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
