Position Summary

Join CVS Health as a professional driver, operating a tractor-trailer and/or straight truck to deliver merchandise to stores efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include timely deliveries, as well as picking up and returning merchandise and empty totes to the distribution center.

Key Details

Schedule: Day, evening and overnight shifts required (24/5)

Driving Scope: Must be comfortable with inner-city driving

Inner City Routes: Washington, DC., Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA

Home Daily: Enjoy the benefit of being home every day

Consistent Schedule: Anticipated 5-day work weeks (hours will vary)

Competitive Pay: Guaranteed starting pay of $286.32 per day

Required Qualifications

Meet all Department of Transportation requirements concerning driver qualifications (FMCSR 391.11)

Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience (Preference given to experienced store-side delivery drivers or inner-city drivers)

No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last four (4) years

Two or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than parking) within the past three (3) years

No conviction of any offense involving impaired driving within the last five (5) years

No conviction of careless or reckless driving within the past five (5) years

No preventable accidents that ever resulted in a fatality or catastrophic injury

No conviction of a criminal offense involving a commercial vehicle (FMCSR Sec. 383.51 and 391.15)
