Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the sales force, distributors, and end-users as well as market, improving and expanding the product line in an effort to increase sales and profitability of the company. Support international markets as well as domestic. 

Job Details/Responsibilities

1.    In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2.    Handle requests from sales force relating to general product information, literature, and samples for trade and distributor shows, as well as daily for routine support.
3.    Respond to customers’ product-related inquiries.
4.    Develop and implement pricing, marketing plans, selling strategies, and promotional programs.
5.    Develop product promotions for presentations by sales force to distributors and end users, and train sales force.
6.    Write, edit, index, or revise a variety of technical, user documentation such as articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for a wide range of uses for field and distributor sales force.  Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
7.    Conduct competitive market research and analyses, providing marketing support to the development of new products and improvements of existing products. Keep Sales informed regarding improvements and new products.
8.    Follow complaint protocols. Participate in overall issue and communicate with sales force and customers regarding field notifications.
9.    Coordinate and supervise trade shows, conferences, and distributor meetings. Coordinate and conduct technical seminars and training programs as needed, including coordination of logistics.

10.    Provide in-service education to customers to promote understanding of Terumo CVS products. Train customers on clinical aspects of the product, procedures, and support clinical cases.
11.    Participate in field visits to distributors, ends users, and Cardiac Operating Room as applicable. Visit key customers to evaluate products and maintain positive customer relations.
12.    Monitor and analyze sales data for product and market performance and, if necessary, develop and collaboratively execute corrective action plan.
13.    Monitor, adjust, and maintain revenue forecasting.
14.    Train sales personnel on business and clinical aspects of products and associated procedures.
15.    Utilizes the systems and processes in place to attract, develop, engage, train and retain talented Associates; creating a work environment where Associates can realize their full potential, thus allowing the organization to meet business needs.

16. Perform other duties as assigned.


 

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Requires a four-year college degree and a minimum of five years of product management experience, preferably in the medical device industry. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office. 
 

The annualized base salary range for this role is $105,060.00 to $139,587.00. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
