Purpose

The Portfolio Manager ? UAS is responsible for managing and growing the company?s UAS product and service portfolio from concept through commercialization. This role owns portfolio strategy, market positioning, and performance, with a focus on Amazon-capable offerings, hire-to-consult solutions, and digital discoverability. The position bridges strategy, operations, business development, and marketing to ensure offerings are competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer and market demand.

 

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with cross-functional interaction across engineering, operations, business development, marketing, and leadership teams. Occasional travel may be required to support customer engagements, partners, or industry events.

 

Position Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of UAS products and service offerings, including hire-to-consult capabilities
  • Define portfolio roadmap, positioning, and value propositions aligned with company strategy
  • Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend adjustments based on market trends, margins, and demand
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for new offerings or service expansions

Market & Customer Alignment

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the UAS ecosystem
  • Translate customer needs into clearly defined offerings in collaboration with engineering and operations
  • Support pricing strategy and packaging of UAS products and consulting services
  • Act as a subject matter resource for internal teams on UAS portfolio capabilities

Amazon & Digital Readiness

  • Ensure UAS products and services are structured to be Amazon-capable where applicable
  • Support listing readiness, compliance considerations, and content alignment for online marketplaces
  • Partner with marketing to optimize portfolio visibility through SEO-focused descriptions and keywords

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business development to support pipeline development and customer engagement
  • Work with engineering and operations to ensure offerings are feasible, scalable, and deliverable
  • Coordinate with marketing on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market materials

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track portfolio KPIs including performance, utilization, and revenue contribution
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on portfolio health and strategic recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement of portfolio structure, documentation, and processes
