Customs Administrator

Location: Street, Somerset (Office Based)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Start Your Career in Customs, Logistics and International Trade

Clarks is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customs Administrator to join our Customs team in Street, Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in administration, logistics, supply chain or international trade. No previous customs experience is required as full training will be provided.

Working alongside experienced customs professionals, you will learn how international goods move across borders and play an important role in supporting the import of products into the UK.

Whether you have administration experience or are looking for your first office-based role, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Entering customs and shipping information into company systems
  • Checking import and shipping documents for accuracy
  • Supporting the processing of customs paperwork
  • Communicating with colleagues and suppliers to obtain missing information
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Working closely with experienced team members to learn customs processes
  • Helping ensure goods move smoothly through the supply chain
What We're Looking For
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable and dependable approach to work
  • Ability to work accurately with data and documentation
