Job description

Capitol Bridge is seeking a full-time onsite Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Columbia, SC. Since 1999, our employees have been entrusted with helping the business of government work better for our customers. To prepare you for this role, Capitol Bridge provides comprehensive paid training when you start.


Hours of Operations: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm


Start Date: TBD


Pay and Benefits:

Duties: 

  • Make outbound calls to applicants to complete packets and gather information.
  • Record all relevant information by telephone or send a letter to applicants explaining what information and documentation is required to complete their packet. 
  • Check applicant eligibility during initial outreach conversation.
  • Explain to applicants how to obtain specific records needed for the packet.
  • Review packets to ensure all proper documentation and information are present.
  • Offer to help applicants collect documentation as well as provide three way call assistance reaching their provider or provider’s medical records office.
  • Track document requests and confirm receipt to provider offices and medical record facilities in the system.
  • If necessary, follow up with providers to request missing records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

- Must have one year of experience in a customer service role with performance metrics.

- Must be proficient with a computer including Microsoft Office products, the Internet, and other systems.

- Highly organized with ability to prioritize.

- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.

- United States citizenship is required.

- Call center experience is a plus.

- Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus.
