Provide support as directed by designated supervisor.
Perform opening and closing duties for the LaHaye Ice Center.
Greet andassistguests visiting the facility for rink viewing, events, or meetings.
Communicate with full-time staffregardingscheduled visitors and meetings.
Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering Liberty University's mission.
Front Desk Operations (Swiper)
Record all outside guests, students, faculty, and alumni entering the facility.
Track daily guest usage for reporting purposes.
Package and Mail Handling
Receive and distribute incoming packages for LaHaye Ice Center staff and Club Sports coaches.
Deliver packages toappropriate officesor notify coacheslocatedoutside the rink.
Answer incoming calls for both LaHaye Ice Center and Club Sports.
Provideaccurateinformation regarding:
Public skating and session schedules
Hockey game details and ticket information
Payment Processing (QuadPoint)
Handle payments for facility events and usage.
Complete transactions for:
Public event admissions (public skate, open hockey, freestyle sessions)
Club Sports Administrative Support
Assiststaff and coaches with administrative tasks, including:
Updating university-wide scheduling systems
Maintaining inter-rink scheduling documents
Creating documents for Club Sports or customer service needs
Provide occasional support for concessions and event staffing.
Support summer camp operations as needed.
If the employeeis required totravel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may berequiredfor travel.Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance isrequiredwhen driving in the performance of the employee's position.
