Job description

Job Opportunity: Customer Service Personnel (Verifying Official)
Location: Fort Bragg, North Carolina
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site
Make a Difference
Every Soldier, retiree, and family member who walks into the Fort Bragg ID card office is counting on someone to get their credential right - the card that gets them on post, onto the network, and into the benefits they earned. That someone is you. As a Customer Service Personnel, or Verifying Official, you confirm who people are and issue the Common Access Card (CAC) and Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card the Department of Defense runs on.
What You'll Do
  • Verify identity and eligibility and issue CAC and USID cards using Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) workstations.
  • Reset Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), update records in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), capture fingerprints, and issue Shop for Cards.
  • Staff a customer-service window or telephone appointment line, and record each appointment in real time as you service the customer.
  • Account for card stock and consumables, keep them secured, and follow established ID card procedures.

Who You Are
  • Customer-service oriented and steady when the lobby is full.
  • Detail-oriented - you double-check the record before you commit it.
  • A teammate who will cross-train across the workstation, the window, and the phone line.

Qualifications
  • Favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) by your start date - we will help you through the process.
  • U.S. citizen able to obtain a CAC.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Prior customer-service experience; prior ID card, personnel, or administrative work is a plus.

Why You'll Love It Here
🏥 Comprehensive benefits - Health coverage, paid time off, 11 paid Federal holidays, and a retirement plan with a company match.
🤝 Flexible coverage options - A co-work option (with Government approval) that lets you and a teammate share a position and schedule time off without leaving the mission short.
🕓 Predictable schedule - Steady, on-post work with hours you can plan your life around - no nights or weekends.
Ready to Join Us?
Apply today - if you take pride in getting it right the first time and want work that matters to the people who serve, we want to hear from you.
