SERVICE MANAGER / DIRECTOR

About the Opportunity

We are a leading, high-volume automotive dealership in the Metro Atlanta area seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager / Director to lead our service department. This is a search for a top performer who can drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability in a premium environment.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.

- Hire, train, motivate, and manage service advisors, technicians, and support staff.

- Develop and manage the department budget, controlling costs while maximizing profitability.

- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction scores through proactive issue resolution and relationship building.

- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty standards, safety protocols, and dealership policies.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, retention, and efficiency metrics.

- Collaborate with sales and parts departments to optimize overall dealership performance.


Qualifications

- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in automotive service management, preferably in a high-volume luxury or premium brand dealership.

- Proven track record of achieving service department sales and profitability goals.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.

- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.

- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field preferred but not required.
