Position: Direct Hire Maintenance Technician
Location: High Point, NC
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $32/hr
Job Overview
To perform the wiring of control panels, install/program: sensors, barcode scanner, inspection camera systems, PLC’s, VFD’s etc. Troubleshoot electrical issues. Enhance machine performance by increasing in one or all of the following manners: production up, quality up, scrap rate down and /or labor cost down

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist technicians/production with electrical issues
  • Assist technicians/production with programming issues in regards to PLC’s, sensors, VFD’s, barcode scanners, inspection cameras etc.
  • Make recommendations for replacing older electronic systems with newer technologies
  • Maintain inventory levels for electronic devices
  • Enhance machine performance
  • Maintain documentation (OEE board, preventive maintenance log book, machine log)
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
