Job description

Customer Service / Inside Sales / Support

B & G Distributing is seeking an Inside Sales / Support Representative. You will be responsible for working as part of our sales team and will include activities such as quotes, order entry, order maintenance, order processing and pulling orders for customer pick-up or shipment. .

The position requires, good organizational skills and strong customer service abilities. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Assist customers with determination of product requirements .
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate up-to-date inventory management & control system.
  • Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service
  • Assist in office duties and maintain clean environment.
  • Assist with warehouse duties including pulling, staging and preparing orders for pick-up or shipment
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous experience with Equipment, Parts or Service, preferred.

  • Proven communication skills and math skills
  • Basic PC skills
  • Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to learn)
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
