Summary of Role:

Owns daytoday execution of assigned custom silicon customer programs, including MIPSbased MCUs and Sensor SoCs, for strategic customers (e.g., automotive Tier1s). Acts as the primary program execution interface between the customer and GlobalFoundries/MIPS crossfunctional teams, ensuring predictable delivery, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction across the full silicon lifecycle.

This role is an individual contributor with full program ownership for one or more customer programs but no peoplemanagement responsibility.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own endtoend execution of assigned customerspecific silicon programs from early engagement through SOP, volume ramp, and sustaining.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for program execution with the customer, providing clear communication on status, risks, and commitments.

  • Drive crossfunctional coordination across IP, design, verification, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.

  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and risk registers for complex custom products.

  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate technical, schedule, cost, or supply risks.

  • Support change management, including scope changes, milestones updates, and customer change requests.

  • Ensure programs meet customer delivery, quality, and performance expectations.

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductors, with exposure to SoC, MCU, or custom silicon programs.

  • Experience working directly with customers and internal engineering teams across silicon development lifecycles.

  • Strong execution mindset with ability to operate independently.
