Reports To: General ManagerPosition Summary:

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure high-performance in service quality, food safety, team development, and profitability. This position may be assigned specific operational areas and will play a key leadership role in executing the restaurant’s business strategy, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain and enforce high standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service.
  • Ensure adherence to all PRIDE systems and operational routines as part of daily operations.
  • Assist in implementing and executing the restaurant's business plan as directed by the General Manager.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Ensure guest service standards are consistently met or exceeded across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Promptly and professionally resolve customer concerns, escalating major issues to the General Manager as appropriate.
  • Staff Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, and develop hourly employees by conducting orientations, providing ongoing coaching, and administering performance reviews.
  • Foster a team culture that encourages accountability, respect, and excellence.
  • Support the General Manager in building weekly team schedules to ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
  • Financial & Inventory Management:
  • Support cost control initiatives by monitoring and managing product and labor costs.
  • Accurately complete inventory counts, place orders, and oversee cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure promotional materials and limitedtime offers are executed effectively at the point of sale and instore.
  • Communication & Reporting:
  • Serve as the acting manager in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Communicate all key operational or personnel issues—positive or negative—to the General Manager in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to support smooth shift transitions and consistent execution of restaurant objectives.
