Job description

As an Operations Analyst at Global, you will play a critical role in managing our fuel supply chain and pricing strategies across both branded and unbranded segments. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, supply chain management, and exceptional communication skills to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of fuel, management of pricing strategies, and support our sales teams. You will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain processes, handling pricing and delivery issues, and maintaining strong relationships with haulers and suppliers.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee branded and unbranded fuel allocation needs, ensuring haulers deliver fuel correctly and efficiently across a specific geographic region.
  • Pricing Strategy Assistance: Assist in importing supplier pricing and sending customer pricing based on contracts, ensuring alignment with market movements and company margins during daily evening pricing process.
  • Invoicing and Charges Management: Handle accessorial charges on freight invoices and assist accounting with pricing and delivery issue resolutions.
  • Operational Support: Authorize haulers at new terminals and manage after-hours operational issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Supplier and Hauler Relations: Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers and haulers, negotiating terms and resolving lifting/delivery issues with best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Build and maintain reporting consistent with the group's KPI's for success.
  • Sales Support: Support sales efforts by providing potential customers with pricing through Axxis and assisting with sales queries.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure consistency and accuracy between different inventory and pricing systems, updating them as necessary to reflect current pricing and supply conditions.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis and report generation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using supply chain and pricing software including PDI, Axxis, Excel, Tableau other data analysis tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle after-hours issues and provide timely resolutions, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Pay Range $73,600.00 - $110,400.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
