Job description

Cook Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for a Full-Time Implementations Technician to join our Corporate Install Team in Portland, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for the staging, installation, support and troubleshooting of surveillance and security systems and associated hardware and software. You will work closely with Technicians and Project Managers to ensure that all surveillance systems are implemented efficiently and operate optimally, helping to enhance the safety and security of our customers premises while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Location: Portland, OR

Shift: On-Site - Monday - Friday; 9am - 6pm or 8am - 5pm

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and set up surveillance equipment, including cameras, servers, video recorders, network devices, and other related hardware and software.
  • Monitor Project Management Board/Ticketing System for assigned tasks.
  • Respond immediately to support requests and/or escalate when appropriate.
  • Remotely support CSG & VAR technicians relating to CSG technologies.
  • Answer phones and provide world-class customer service.
  • Troubleshoot issues with minimal assistance and escalate when required.
  • Perform daily manual tasks as assigned.
  • Operate within RemoteView, Cook Command Center, and other CSG remote support software to perform assigned tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of system configurations, installation details and other project documentation.
  • Maintains control and follows safeguards with all company or customer owned property or information to which employee has been entrusted.
  • Responsible for supporting and teaching less experienced employees and trainees on company procedures, systems, and techniques.
  • Ensures all work is performed to company quality standards and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

Experience with advanced video surveillance technologies, including cloud-based solutions and AI-powered security systems. Background in networking, system administration, or IT support. High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree or certification in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field is preferred, or 2+ years of hands-on experience with surveillance systems, including CCTV, IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and access control systems.
