Job description

Nova Intelligence is building the frontier AI platform for SAP teams. SAP is the heart of the enterprise: almost every critical business process at the world's largest companies - finance, supply chain, manufacturing, sales - runs on SAP. Our customers use Nova to 3x the productivity of their SAP teams: modernizing legacy code, redesigning business processes, resolving production issues, and more.
Nova Intelligence was founded by AI researchers, repeat entrepreneurs, and the co-inventor of SAP HANA, and has raised $40M from SAP.io, Accel, Conviction, and Chemistry.
[Check out the Launch Video]
About this role
We're hiring customer-facing engineers to drive the adoption and success of Nova for our customers. You'll own POCs and enterprise deployments, prove the platform's value in complex customer environments, and guide enterprise SAP teams from initial deployment through long-term, expanding usage. You'll also serve as the highest-bandwidth channel between our customers and our product team. This is a technical role: it requires real SAP expertise, fluency in the Nova platform, hands-on debugging skill and the ability to communicate clearly with both developers and executives.
What you'll do
Drive adoption and prove value. You'll own POCs and enterprise deployments at our most important customers - picking the right use cases, configuring Nova against their systems, training customers on using Nova, demonstrating concrete wins, and guiding them from first usage to durable, expanding adoption. You'll work closely with our engineers, product leaders, salespeople and directly with our CTO and co-founder.
Own the long-term technical relationship. You'll be the technical voice in the room with each customer's SAP architects, development leads, and product owners. You'll align with their executives on long-term priorities and pair with their developers on the code itself.
Debug real problems in real systems. You'll read code, read traces, form hypotheses, and resolve issues directly or route them precisely. This requires depth in both SAP and Nova.
Translate customer reality into product. Every meaningful insight, friction point, and emergent use case should flow through you and shape what we build next.
What we're looking for
  • You bring deep SAP technical experience, whether from senior consulting, in-house development, or independent work. You read ABAP fluently and you're polyglot beyond it.
  • You have informed opinions on AI tooling and frontier models. You've used modern coding agents enough to know what they can and can't do today, and where they're heading.
  • You communicate clearly and directly with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • You have a track record of public technical output - writing, talks, open-source contributions, community presence. (Strong plus, not required.)

A note on scope
Most people in this role focus primarily on customer engagements and the product feedback loop. Some split time with core platform engineering. We welcome candidates interested in either path (see "Senior SAP Engineer" role for more details).
Background we'd like to see
  • 5+ years of serious SAP technical work
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA migrations or Clean Core programs
  • Side projects, experiments, or contributions outside the SAP ecosystem, especially with AI or Agentic AI tooling
  • Time at an early-stage startup or small consulting firm where you owned customer outcomes end-to-end

Why join
You'll use Nova every day, becoming one of the most fluent users of frontier AI tooling for SAP. It's a rare vantage point: years ahead of the rest of the industry on AI for enterprise software, while shipping real value to customers.
We're a small, highly talent-dense team building the infrastructure to make AI fluent in SAP. We offer competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and full health, dental, and vision coverage.
If you read this and recognize the role you want, apply - even if you don't match every line.
