The Customer Development Manager - Walmart manages all aspects of Colgate's relationship with the Customer. This position negotiates with the customer to achieve the company's 5P strategies for all of Colgate's brands/categories and deliver annual sales/share targets within spending parameters. A key member of the Customer Development Organization, the incumbent will help drive superior business results through relationship building, solid analytics, program evaluation, and development and delivery of business plans.

This is a hybrid role and the ideal candidate is expected to work in office 4x week (Monday - Thursday).

 
Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to develop, negotiate and implement a Customer Plan to achieve Financial and 5P Objectives for all of Colgate's brands/categories, and deliver annual sales/share targets
  • Utilize efficiently available Category Management Tools (eg. Nielsen Desktop), Atlas, Retail Link, etc. to understand consumption and shipment data to identify brand/category performance trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as the Customer Development, Marketing and Supply Chain functions to build business opportunities and ensure planning accuracy.Collaborate with eCommerce teams and maintain weekly touchpoints

Required Qualifications:

  • BBA, B. Comm or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in a Customer Development role in the consumer products industry
  • 3+ years experience in a Customer manager role managing Walmart
  • Experience in developing strategies and plans to respond to shoppers/customer trends delivering against the commercial goals
  • Proficient skills in Retail Link, Scintilla, ACN's Workstation Plus and Atlas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Category Management experience


Compensation
Salary Range $115,000.00 - $142,000.00 CAD per year
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and work or office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc. / Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada Inc. offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
