What to Expect:

Are you passionate about transforming data into impactful insights? Join our dynamic team as a Customer Development Team (Sales) Analyst, where your expertise will help drive success for both our internal teams and valued external customers. In this role, you will primarily support the Ice Cream Sales Team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations that help shape business decisions and accelerate growth. By joining us, you will enhance your analytical capabilities while playing a key role in delivering value through actionable insights, strong collaboration, and informed decision-making. This position is an existing vacancy.

A day in the life:

In this position, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data and information to develop solutions that provide actionable insights for both internal and external clients.

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for the account team and provide insights for business growth.
  • Recommend strategies based on sales and customer outcomes, focusing on Strategic Revenue Management to optimize product mix, promotional ROI, and drive profitable growth
  • Participate in Business Planning and Joint Business Planning
  • Update and oversees the management of internal and external scorecards and reports
  • Customize client presentations with Category Shopper Development materials, developing tailored sales presentations to address specific customer needs, and providing support during customer presentations as needed.
  • Ownership of the Sales Management tool, providing Retail Sales with detailed customer and category information while updating customer profiles.
  • Supports the development of shopper insights, store clusters, and omni-channel capabilities to improve sales opportunities.
  • Customize assortment, planogram, and digital shelf recommendations to provide actionable insights for the customer.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to promote a comprehensive understanding of Nestle's processes and operational methods

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of combined sales and analytical experience within the CPG industry
  • Previous experience in the extraction and analysis of POS data
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong project management, time management, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • French and English bilingualism is an asset.
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Knowledge of CPG industry data sources, syndicated sales data, and vendor tools
  • Experience using Nielsen, Retail Link, LDIA, IRI, or similar retail POS portals
  • Understanding of customer, category, and sales analytics within the CPG industry
