  • Develop and implements sales strategies to achieve company growth and profitability goals.  
  • Leads the sales team to meet and exceed individual and team targets.  
  • Mentors and trains new sales engineers to ensure they understand the building requirements, products, services, estimating, and the overall sales process.  
  • Updates the sales pipeline and ensures that all sales opportunities are effectively tracked and managed.  
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.  
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as operations and accounting, to ensure sales efforts align with overall company goals and objectives.  
  • Prepares and presents sales reports to senior management to provide insight into sales performance and market trends.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: As a Business Development Manager for Cross-Fire & Security, you will have supervisory responsibilities over new sales engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the sales team's performance and ensure that they meet their individual and team targets.  
Supervisory responsibilities may include the following:  
  • Training and mentoring new sales engineers to ensure they understand the company's products, services, and sales process.   
  • Monitoring the sales team's performance and providing feedback on their performance. You may need to conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to help them improve their skills and achieve their targets.  
  • Setting goals and objectives for the sales team and tracking their progress. You must monitor the sales pipeline and ensure all sales opportunities are effectively tracked and managed.  
  • Managing the sales team's workload and ensuring they focus on the most important sales opportunities. You may need to delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure everyone works efficiently and effectively.  
  • Creating a positive and productive team environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork. You must be a role model for your team and set the tone for the sales team’s culture.  
  • Handling any conflicts or issues that arise within the sales team. This may involve mediating disputes or guiding how to resolve issues.  
Required Skills
