Job description

Blue Nile is seeking a CDP Specialist to support the expansion and adoption of our Customer Data Platform across key marketing and business functions. Sitting at the intersection of marketing technology and customer intelligence, this role partners closely with CRM, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product teams to activate unified customer data, driving personalization, lifecycle marketing, and measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

CDP Operations & Channel Integration
Support the integration of marketing channels into the CDP and manage ad hoc CDP requests and initiatives. Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance within established governance frameworks to ensure a trusted, unified customer view.

Use Case Development & Activation
Partner with marketing and business teams to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact CDP use cases including audience segmentation, lifecycle automation, and personalization. Drive activation of unified customer profiles across channels to deliver outcomes like increased repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value.

Cross-Functional Enablement
Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Serve as a connective layer between marketing intent and technical execution, supporting CDP adoption across the organization.

Measurement & Performance
Define KPIs tied to CDP use cases (e.g., personalization lift, conversion, retention). Analyze performance, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate impact clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  2-3+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, customer analytics, or marketing technology

  Familiarity with CDPs, CRM systems, and digital marketing channels

  SQL proficiency; comfort with Excel and PowerPoint

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail

  Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences

  Intellectual curiosity, fast learner, and self-motivated collaborator

Base pay is $80,000-$90,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
