Your Challenge
In this role, you will be a part of the Healthcare Team of the MEP Sector for Florida.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Representing exp in client interactions by performing at a 'responsible charge' level
  • Managing project risks to minimize exp's and client's exposure to problems
  • Facilitating coordination between project team, client and other consultants
  • Managing project success through timely internal and external communication
  • Understanding actual progress towards meeting scheduled project milestones and working with team to adjust course if necessary
  • Understanding project team needs and time constraints, communicating them with clients and actively managing expectations towards win-win solutions
  • Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the budget
  • Working with the project team to identify project scope changes and cost / time impact
  • Managing exp quality by assuring QC process followed, and by reviewing all client deliverables
  • Manage project cash flow through timely invoices and collections
  • Manage existing client relationships and assist with developing new relationships
  • Provide lead engineering design or guidance in one's discipline.

What your experience looks like
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 8+ years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience, 5+ years of healthcare facility design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer in State of Florida preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and FGI
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Process oriented toward timely documenting of correspondence
  • Advanced equipment selection and analysis and ability to develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
