Job description

Job Title: Sales Associate Date Prepared: 7/18/2016

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Studio Manager

Summary

The Sales Associate assists in running all “front of house” fitness studio operations, with a strong focus on premium customer service as well as meeting sales expectations. The Sales Associate is responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio, including membership sales, renewals, upgrades, retail and concession sales, maximizing workout traffic and maintaining premium customer services levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all functions of the front desk, including but not limited to answering phones, greeting prospective and current clients, checking in classes, booking sessions for members and resolving any customer concerns.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective referral program.
  • Maintains accurate records using established OTF sales systems.
  • Conducts telephone inquiries/follow-up calls and customer care calls.
  • Leads OTF studio previews with prospect and/or fitness program holders.
  • Accurately follows the daily studio cleaning checklists (pre/during/post) shift activities.
  • Explains the full concept of an OTF workout to new guests, called “Intros” and works hand in hand with the trainer to guide an Intro through their first OTF workout.
  • Describes and sells all memberships or packages that OTF has to offer.
  • Proper onboarding all OTF clients through the use of the OTF Sales Systems.
  • Responsible for attending and participating in all relative OTF training, programs and marketing/outreach events.
  • Compliance and adherence to OTF & MDMS business and employment policies.
  • Responsible for compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and laws.
