SUPPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATIONS AT COILCRAFT

Position: Customer Service Administrator Location: Cary, Illinois

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for quality and engineering excellence. Our high-performance magnetic components serve customers across telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics worldwide. We are seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join our Customer Service team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys helping others. You'll provide day-to-day administrative support that keeps the department running smoothly, allowing our Customer Service Representatives to focus on customer relationships and account management.

About the Role and Your Impact
  • Answer incoming calls to Coilcraft's general phone line and assist callers directly or route messages to the appropriate department or Customer Service Representative
  • Monitor the general sales email inbox and respond to or route customer inquiries to the appropriate team member
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Customer Service team, including supplier forms and other customer documentation
  • Respond to requests from Coilcraft's international teams regarding product availability, stock, and Country of Origin (COO) information
  • Assist with gathering product weights and dimensions for customer requests
  • Prepare and distribute open-order reports for Customer Service Representatives
  • Help maintain accurate records and ensure customer requests are directed and completed in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support to other departments when Customer Service workload allows
  • Assist with additional projects and general office responsibilities as needed

  • Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally with customers and employees
