A customer assistant provides service to potential or current clients to help a company meet its revenue goals and business outcomes. As a customer assistant, your job duties include fielding incoming calls, emails, and online chats, identifying customer needs, handling complaints, and answering questions. You direct customers to the proper department to resolve their concerns and follow up to confirm the issue has been resolved.
