About the Opportunity


Invoke Staffing is recruiting a Remodeling Construction Project Manager for a Triangle HBA award winning residential remodeling and construction company serving homeowners throughout the Raleigh area. This position offers the opportunity to manage a variety of renovation, addition, and remodeling projects while working closely with clients, trade partners, and internal field teams.


The ideal candidate is a proactive construction professional with strong residential construction knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to successfully manage projects from preconstruction through completion.


Position Summary

The Remodeling Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential remodeling projects to ensure they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the construction process and works closely with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential remodeling, renovation, addition, and custom construction projects from contract execution through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and construction timelines.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal field personnel.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with homeowners, field staff, and trade partners.
  • Review plans, specifications, selections, and scopes of work to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project costs and proactively identify opportunities to maintain profitability.
  • Prepare and manage change orders, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
  • Resolve project challenges quickly and professionally while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Oversee punch list completion, project closeout, and warranty follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing residential remodeling, renovation, custom home, or new homebuilding projects.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience building new homes
  • Experience managing high-end residential remodeling projects.
  • Knowledge of estimating, preconstruction, and budgeting processes.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, JobTread, Procore, or similar software.
  • Construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
