We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead our team in the successful execution of remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential construction project management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring adherence to timeline, and quality standards.


POSITION SUMMARY

As a project manager you will oversee all aspects of residential renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, and to the client's satisfaction. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, the design team, and subcontractors; developing timelines; working with our Purchasing Dept. to procure materials and vendor services; conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality; resolving issues and conflicts; and maintaining communication with all parties involved. The project manager also enforces quality standards, complies with building codes and safety regulations, and documents project activities. Our goal is to deliver high-quality remodeling projects while fostering positive relationships and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Attend project kickoff meetings to review project scope, expectations, and deliverables with impacted parties.
  • Create detailed project schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Work with Purchasing Dept. to procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services in a timely manner to support project timelines and budget requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, inspect workmanship, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, including overseeing work performance, and resolving disputes or conflicts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates, address questions or concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the remodeling process.
  • Enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with current building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Document project activities, including daily progress reports, change orders, and project photos to maintain accurate project records.
  • Anticipate potential project risks or obstacles and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3-5 years experience in residential remodeling project management.
  • Construction management higher education preferred.
  • Understanding of MS Office like excel, word and CRMs.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoy learning, problem solving and achieving goals.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, renovation execution, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt quickly.
  • Knowledge of residential construction materials, applications, and take-off lists.
  • Experience using construction management platforms like CoConstruct or BuilderTrend.
  • Active listening to hear team members, client needs, collaborate internally, and respond appropriately.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and state required insurance.
  • Dress and groom neatly and professionally.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S. 
  • This position is based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office and requires working on-site at customer locations and/or at our main office.

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. 
  • Frequent standing, walking and sitting.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
