What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a custom air (HVAC) technician?

To thrive as a Custom Air (HVAC) Technician, you need strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, often supported by an HVAC certification or technical degree. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, refrigerant handling certifications (like EPA 608), and the ability to read blueprints are typically required.
